What is the Screen Time Tracker?

The Screen Time Tracker is a simple tool for parents or guardians to record, visualize, and review daily screen time across devices for one or more children. Log session details, compare across days or devices, and spot trends to help set healthy family technology limits.

How to Use

  1. Enter the child's name or nickname.
  2. Select the device being used (e.g., Tablet, TV, Gaming Console).
  3. Fill in the time spent (hours and minutes) for a specific session or chunk.
  4. Specify the date (defaults to today).
  5. Click Add to log the entry. See the running summary and breakdown just below.
  6. Use Reset All to clear the log. Use Copy Link or share tools to spread awareness/tips.
  7. Load the Example for a quick, realistic filled-out demo.

Worked Example

Add two more entries for "Tablet" and "TV" for the same date to see the summary bar and which device gets most usage.
